Public opinion matters in business, as the majority of Americans won’t buy products from companies they believe to be unethical. The customer is always right, and at the moment, many businesses believe that their most important customers don’t like the NRA. Further, if activists continue to push, politicians that won’t go along will be bumped out of office.
