Clumber Park owner in plea to energy firm to drop fracking bid

The National Trust has made a direct appeal to energy firm Ineos to drop its bid to carry out a fracking survey at Clumber Park. The company has threatened legal action against the trust so it can carry out seismic surveying at the Grade I-listed site near Ollerton, which is owned by the charity and features thousands of acres of parkland, heathland and woodland.
