North Yorkshire fracking: Police officer and guard hurt at site

A police officer has been injured and a security guard bitten near a fracking site in North Yorkshire. Two protestors are lying in the road outside the site in Kirby Misperton with their arms locked into a metal device, police said.

22nd person charged after North Yorkshire fracking protests

A 21-year-old man has been charged with obstructing a police officer, following anti-fracking protests in North Yorkshire. He was arrested at Habton Road, Kirby Misperton, at about 11.30am on Friday 29 September.
