It’s not just polar bears that face extinction in the Arctic

This article discusses the widespread impact that climate change is having on wildlife in the polar regions. The impact of lessening snow will impact wolverines (fewer safe dens); caribou and reindeer; and lemmings and their predators  including Arctic and red foxes, weasels, wolverines, snowy and short-eared owls. Scientists say more study of Arctic wildlife is urgently needed, but funding and media attention remains sparse.
